Tres Torres
Located in Juarez, Mexico, the Tres Torres project will provide housing for 300 families. The challenge was to build a quality home at an affordable price with mostly unskilled labor. Light Gauge Solutions, Inc. worked closely with the Tres Torres designers to develop 24 home plans that range from 1200 SF to 1800 SF. Designs are distinctly southwest with traditional stucco exterior.
The size of the project warranted opening an on site fabrication facility. Light Gauge Solutions, Inc. provided training and consultation for the initial startup. The project now has the capacity to start 20-30 houses a month and complete each house in 45-60 days.
After initially delivering whole house packages, Light Gauge Solutions, Inc. now ships truckloads of steel, much of it cut-to-length to simplify the fabrication process. Our expeditor works closely with on site management to monitor inventory and plan shipments accordingly.
